Feeling - Twelve Stops and Home

Introduction:

On 5 June 2006, The Feeling released their debut album "Twelve Stops and Home". The album's title refers to the twelve stops on the Piccadilly Line of the London Underground from Leicester Square to Bounds Green. Lead singer Dan Gillespie Sells grew up in Bounds Green and lived a short walk from the tube station. To celebrate the release, the band's record company, Island Records, took 120 British music journalists on the Eurostar to Paris for the day, where the band performed live in a restaurant. This was in recognition of the fact the band took their name from a Parisian bar.

Most Popular Singles:

The album produced 3 top 10 hits, "Sewn", "Fill My Little World" and "Never Be Lonely". The first single, "Sewn" reached No: 7 on the UK charts in March 2006, followed by the top ten hit "Fill My Little World" in May 2006. The release spent four consecutive weeks at No: 16 and outsold the Feeling's debut single. "Never Be Lonely" was released in August 2006 and became their third top ten hit, peaking at No: 9, where it stayed for two weeks.

Achievements:

The Album reached No: 2 in the UK Albums Chart. It received a 5 star review from The Observer but garnered a 4/10 from music magazine NME.

Feeling Tickets are available at Sold Out Ticket Market on nominal rates.
